Reflecting the designer’s fascination with our underwater world, the hand-painted ‘somefish’ pattern wraps its wearer in a flattering, jewel-toned watercolour design.
The World Economic Forum projects that there will be more plastic than fish in our oceans by 2050. The DBA bodysuit uses fabric made from 78% recycled bottles - a truly sustainable material that also offers shape retention, two-way stretch and muscle control as well as resistance to chlorine, UV and oils.
The DBA bodysuit is digitally printed in the UK, in small batches that minimise wastage. They are lovingly sent to you by DBA’s team of freelancers currently furloughed from the arts sector.
The design encompasses an elegant boat neck, open back and double-lined front panel for support - informed by Alice’s decade of professional dance experience. Discerning mermaids can even mix and match with DBA’s signature ’somefish’ skirts.
